activastion, quick work around??

after trying to activate through blah blah soft it said no internet blah bla even though i did so rather keep trying for hours like most i uninstalled fm and reinstalled with the 'steam activaation option and 5 minutes later im all activated and have the patch downloaded so done. But im not sure if you can now uninstall steam and carry on playing the game? (retail box bought) I dont see why i should have to have a 3rd party app just to play my game.

lol just found out even IF you activate via steam it still uses soft anchor. si you swines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
