Marty_Abs
to download the game from steam with their "estimated tax" add on at 44.99 dollars eventually equates to £35.86 pence at the best exchange rate, given banks/payapl etc your looking ay 36 quid. So its more expensive to do it an easier and more cost effective way for the makers of FM however the end user gets stung with higher costs and no hard copy of the game, cd wallet and instructions. Wheres the logic, surely a digital download is meant to reduce costs, that why song on itunes are like 70p instead of going out and buying a single for 1.99 or w/e they are now. Basically we are being treated as mugs.
damienroden
Yup, you are right, the digital download means all you are gettng is a file, which only a file on a pc, not book of paper, a plastic case and CD, so why don't they pass on the savings? May encourage people to use steam(ing
RedBones
Bar in mind that the exchange rate has moved from 1.80 to 1.47 in the past 2 mths... that equates to a £5 change in the STG equivalent on $45.
