Soft Anchor Activation Problem

Hi, This it to highlight - as it seems to have not been noticed by anyone official - the issues myself and lots of people are having with the soft anchor part of the activation.

Having installed and patched the game with steam I am now unable to activate it with soft anchor with the message

"We're sorry but the installation of Football Manager 2009 certificate could not be activated for the following reason: The Application was unable to connect to the internet"

Obviously I am connected, as our the other people in the thread activating via steam and soft anchor.

I am hoping that the different title of this thread might lead to some help being given, I have tried to call the helpline in the booklet continuously but to no avail as it keeps coming up with a busy tone.

Please Help Us SI
