patch not working

hi getting abit annoyed my fault more than likely i downloaded patch but doesnt seem to of updated game as i still have redknapp and portsmouth.and also when you start new game on the old version it use to give you to load database one normal version 2nd would be the patch game version so shouldnt htis show up as 9.1.also when i use to download patch after it finished it would zip to the fm 09 file then i was away were best place to download it from plzzzzzz

Alittle hard to understand but you say you have downloaded the patch but have you installed it?

Did you run the patch after downloading it? It needs to be installed onto your game.

Also, if you started a game before patch and then continued after the patch, the data will not have updated. You will need a new game for the data changes.

should of read back what i said.what i mean is last year when i downloaded a patch for the old fm 08 after it finished downloading it use to automatcially zip to the game.were can i get the patch for it to do that again.becasue i wouldnt know how to put it in to the fm file

Just download the patch and then run it,it will automatically go into the fm09 file you dont have to do anything.

Not sure what you mean but download the patch from any of the links in the sticky then choose on your pc where you want the patch to download too and were you can easily find it and remember were you put it,then when it has downloaded goto where you placed the patch and double click it and your all set.

Desktop's probably the best place to put the patch file to run it.

And I can't remember any FM patch that self-activated, are you sure you're not confusing it with a patch for another game?

then just double click the patch if i put it on desk top and the game will run?or double click fm09 logo on my desktop?

no when you double click the patch it will then install the patch into fm09,after this is done you can then run fm09 from the fm icon and your game will start with the patch.

Any one else having error with the patch saying "error reading file block 151" Or do you think i need to re-install fm?

well am downloading it from lespacio of here i hit run so lets see what happens after that

When running the patch it'll auto-detect your FM install. Simply apply patch.

Not working for me,i get a security warning around %100

yep done that how do i know its worked?

By starting FM, it should say somewhere in the game what build it is.
