Editor problem, wont work

I got the game via steam, went to where they store it, and clicked the editor. I got this message. What should I do? Is there somewhere else to access it?

Does anyone know what the editor is trying to get me to do so it can work?

I am not sure if it matters but try closing down the game and then launching the editor.

It looks like you have shortcut there as well. Have you tried that?

Tried both, and stuck one on the desktop. Same message. Weird. I'll see if I can change it to run as admin.

I did it and the league is not working

I did all the things to swap the league but there is something wrong. I did the league in FM 2008 and it is ok but in FM 2009 is not

Vista shouldn't be the problem.

I think someone said earlier on that there is a problem with one of the EDT or DDT files i am not too sure.

Can i have a screenshot of the files you have in the Db editor folder? Then i can compare with mine.

If you are XP user download these 2 files:

1. Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package

2. Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1

If you are a VISTA user download these 2 files:

1. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5

2. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

Install in this order then restart your computer.

I had the same problem as your having,now it works fine
