David Johnston
Nothing, one is the name given to the US version and the other is for everyone else.
mintchip
Name Wise? WWSM is for our friends over there who play football with a funny shaped ball. Game wise? Haven't played WWSM, but I would imagine the name football is replaced by soccer throughout the game.

Zunzan
Does that mean that the patches for FM 09 will be compatible for WWSM 09 or will there be a different patch for WWSM 09? Assuming there will be patches.
David Johnston
Yes, it is the same game but just called soccer instead of football. There will be no other major differences, but there might be a couple of things different, I don't know cause I have never played WWSM. As for the patch, I think they differ for each, i.e. there will be a link to the FM patch and another link to the WWSM patch, but I reckon the actual code inside will be pretty much identical. stevie_G_32201
WWSM and FM are the same game but with different languages. they would have american english whereas we would get UK- english. and the patches are also different you would need to download WWSM patches.
