Player values a bit high

Is it just me or are players more expensive in 09? Especially Scandinavian players are valued much too high in my opinion. Big difference from 08.

nah i got a player for 15 million on fm08 but 7 on fm09

Well considering I'm reading about people buying Diarra for £5m, I'd say they can be too low as well.

As long as you can sign players for a realistic transfer fee, I don't care. Obviously, that sum is what I care about more than the player value. And that seems to have been improved.

Also, I find some valuations of top players actually a bit low...

Sorry, I've could have been a bit more specific. I didn't mean that all players are more expensive, just some, like the scandinavian ones.

playing with Leeds and seeing that quite a few average/good swedish and norwegian players in the scandinavian leagues are valued about £2.5 mil. A bit high?

There's not really any such thing as a realistic transfer fee anyway. Players go for all kinds of fees in real life that many people think are way over-inflated or bargain of the century.

Sure, in FM08 there were way too many excessively high transfer fees for players from AI clubs, but if it is a case of some players being too high and some too low then that is as realistic as it can get really.
