kerplunkuk
What stat or stats are to do with leaks in contracts. Whenever I try and sign or bid for someone it gets leaked and the player suddenly is in demand. This is the text I get; Your assistant manager yyy has felt the need to issue a warning that it appears the transfer offer to xxx has become public knowledge. yyy has indicated he does not know the source of the leak, but he feels the interest in the player could intensify. How would I prevent this?
lawsie
i think its just random tbh, it doesn't happen 'every time' seems random to me anyway.

crafty bison
It happens almost every time I bid for someone. The first time I saw it, I thought 'Nice touch'. The nineteenth time, I wanted to be sick.
kwallace75
They should link it to the ambition of the player, that way you can blame the player's agent for looking to get better deals.

samdiatmh
^ ^ ^ LOL happened to me twice before only when i was signing Eyong Enoh (and the counter offer) they (ajax) then refused to sell at that offer until it got rediculous so i scrapped that idea
FrazT
Once you have made an offer, immediately after confirmation, remove the player from your shortlist- this stops other teams from knowing that you are interested.
Onizukaeikichi
i started 2 games and it is always the transfer of Eyong Enoh that is leaked.
Smoothiebaloo
Once you have made an offer, immediately after confirmation, remove the player from your shortlist- this stops other teams from knowing that you are interested. Does it work?

Rafa2007
Happened three times for me. Once bidding for a 16 year old Spanish centre back that no-one wanted anyway, and a 17 year old Argentinan winger / striker, once again no-one wanted. And then a world class Turkish center forward, but no-one else were interested believe it or not, so I can't complain.
Ryknow
Doesnt bother me as I dont really miss out on getting a player, and if I do then theres plenty more quality regens. It prob would get annoying trying to get real players though, has it got something to do with rep and as said above maybe ambition?
