Who actually really enjoyed the FM09 demo?

everyone is talking about how bad it is but after my 6 months were up I was gutted I couldnt keep going.

Ill definitely be buying the game when it comes out and I think its a big improvement on last year.

I love the new 3D match engine, much better than watching dots move around, and the ass man feedback was a great help.

I know the injuries were a bit intense but I find if you soften your training and put your tactics to easy, it gets a bit better.

You are not alone, if you browse thru all threads you will find more people who are enjoying the Demo.

For myself I am not 100% convinced, but this is mainly because of my work laptop. But I will end up buying FM09 and just play in 2D mode

Ive been reading through the threads, and all I find are moaners and people complaining, and people saying Ive cancelled my order. And Im thinking am I missing something?

It will be a fantastic game when it's finished.

I'm enjoying, in fact I'm enjoying it more then I did FM08.

I need to play it as a BSN/BSS side to see how things are handled at the lower footballing levels before I start dafuge's challenge.

I'm pretty sure many more people have enjoyed the demo than didn't. Most people who initially complained where just doing so as a knee jerk reaction, once they'd played it for longer than 5 minutes they realised that it actually had a lot of potential. The other thing to remember is people are much quicker to post complaints about the game than praise.

i'm enjoying it a great deal, the match engine is spot on, and i'm one of the people who considered the released version of FM08 to be barely playable (until the 2nd patch, iirc).

The vocal minority always out-shout the silent majority my friend. I should imagine that thousands of happy gamers are glued to the demo and have no reason to come onto the forums and say how great they think it is.

I've enjoyed the demo. Completely. Can't wait for the full game, which is already preordered from gogamer so's I can get FM and not WWSM. Was so very happy my FM08 skin worked (with minimal editing) in the demo.

The new tactics have driven me a bit buggy, though, and I have stopped working on them until I get the full version and have MY team to mess with...

Its a very good game aside some problems with laggy 2d and injury probs and text bug but they've now been fixed. I love it otherwise. Will be buying come the 14th!

I think 09 is 5 times better than 08

the thing is it looks as more people are complaining, cause people don't come on here just to praise things, however people will come on and Complain, fact of life, i Enjoyed it alot!

I am really enjoying the demo too, only really come across the injury bug so far and i was only ever gonna play 2D as my lappy has only a intergrated graphics card.

I think 09 is 10 times better than 08 . I am really enjoying all of the new features and can't wait to get my teeth stuck into a Dafuge's challenge

Only played a couple of games but I love the look of the 3d and the gemeplay seems good. Playing as Celtic and in my 2nd game v Shamrock Rovers I seen a cracking goal - Shamrock player shot - Boruc saved on to bar - ball bounced back off Boruc and in to net. Goal given as Boruc OG!!

I think its well wicked, wooot wooot, bring it on, especially when coupled with a new and improved Genie Scout. Biggittupps from me.

I've enjoyed the demo but theres not enough meat on the bone so I'm back on 08 until the 14th (only 8 days )

Personally, i was really liking the demo, but then it buggered up my laptop, making my screen go black. that left me with a £55 hole in my wallet and no demo on my laptop, so im waiting until the 14th and risking the health of my laptop yet again.

I'm really enjoying but because of all the negative threads, everytime I get an injury I think to myself "was he gonna get injured anyway or is this the bug". But overall I really am enjoying the game, I'm debating on seeing the feedback on the patch before I buy the game though.

I am enjoying the demo, I just can't really get in to it because of the injury problem. Once that's fixed I'll really enjoy the actual game next Friday

I am loving it! At first I was getting hammered by injuries and I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but I lowered training down a few notches and now I have my whole team available to me and very few injuries occurring. It is a great game and I cannot wait for the patch and the real thing to come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love it - I just wish there were more hours each day so I could find more time to play it. I tend not to notice the bugs too much and just focus on whats good about it, which is what I try to do with all games not just FM.

i feel with FM theres a job to do every year regardless of game quality bugs etc etc. i use the demo to see whos good and what im going to do in the full game. then i start my career as a manager

The vast majority of people who downloaded the game are off playing, not on the forums. The vocal few are very much the minority. I have problems with the running the game but am trying all the solutions on offer. It takes time.

Apart from the injuries which is being fixed I believe and the difficulty in getting a win, I am enjoying the demo.

actually i am finding it quit enjoyable now compared to when i first played it. after switching to windowed mode most of the problems that were making it unplayable vanished. i guess what i am also trying to say is that iam sorry for being negatively judgemental without actually playing the game for a considerable amount of time. good job SI.
