Sussex Hammer
Sorry if it's been done but I couldn't find anything in a search. One of the annoying things in 08 I found was that there wasn't one News Inbox for all news items. I just was happy clicking along but because the main news inbox just gave you stuff relevant to your own Club I found you missed a lot that was going on elsewhere. I haven't tried the demo so I was wondering how the News Inbox(s) are set up this time?
Glenn Wakeford
Same as FM08. Anything relating to you, your club, or your players goes to your personal inbox. The rest of the news goes to the news inbox.
Sussex Hammer
Damn, I was hoping they would go back to the old style.
jayahr
Damn, I was hoping they would go back to the old style. At least, they have changed it a bit. An "!" will show up if there is interesting news in the division news section. This way I find I notice way more important and interesting things now in FM09
The Hornet
plus they are not next to each other so you could miss news items showing in there as I often do.
Majkee
Same as FM08. Anything relating to you, your club, or your players goes to your personal inbox. The rest of the news goes to the news inbox. Players on your shortlist too.
YesYesOhYay
i prefer it- now your inbox doesn't get stuffed up with random news you don't actually need to know!
Sussex Hammer
i prefer it- now your inbox doesn't get stuffed up with random news you don't actually need to know! Maybe but it's nice to know that "Benitez gets sack" or "AN Other scores his 40th goal in Championship", it used to give you little pointers and I picked up the odd player seeing what went on elsewhere. It also was a relief to see different news items rather than the way it is now when it's the same old stuff week in week out.
