MrKreuziger
It's the same in football manager as Pro cycling Manager it has not anything to hear if it is it's certainly not good. The question though, where do i put the mp3 file ?' Or should i make a new folder like MyMp3 or so, if where ?
Cougar2010
You don't play music through FM. If you want to listen to music use one of the many others options available - ie ITunes, Media player etc.
Abs_UK
lol.. Well to be honest I always have the match day sounds turned off, and mainly listen to music through my windows media player or my iPod... So I believe it will be easier for you to do that then try putting the music into FM itself.
SI Staff Ter Posted November 5, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted November 5, 2008 There is no music in Football Manager and no way of playing any from within the game.
playmaker
I invariably turn music off in games as it is. The only thing I really wanted was an in game volume for the match sounds so that I can play network games and hear my friends without having to turn the sound off completely - and that is in FM09
AyrtonF
Why not just have I-tunes running in backround
MrKreuziger
Thank you all for your answers. I think it would been a good future to put your own music into the game in maybe football Manager 2010? I tried it now actually and it's easy to pop out of the game to start media player and hear it. Clavin99
The best thing to do would be to turn the match sounds off, and use Itunes or Windows Media Player to play Music.
Carradona
No sound on FM, play in windowed mode and evil death metal blasting from windows media player has been my winning concept for many years now. Headphones for the allnighters.
NepentheZ
Just put iTunes on.
Nomis07
Just put The Smiths on. Fixed. I haven't had sounds switched on in FM for years, I find it really annoying.
glamdring
I always play with the sound, but I tend to watch TV at the same time as playing, or if I'm listening to music I do so through my TV (via DVD player) since my laptop already struggles with FM08 speed-wise and would grind to a halt with Windows Media Player running or whatever. Match sounds are an integral part of the experience for me though - just like I couldn't play a motor racing game any other way than by having sound on through headphones.
