ask him to recommend a potential international/ex club mate then sign them! Bring something he misses back to the club or even a coach. Give him leave of abcence if that option is available. Normally if you give him 3 or 4 leaves of absence they finally/sometimes get used to the area and settle

I have had that before with Carvalho when I was Bayern Munich. It happened twice, on the first occasion I didn't play him as much as I thought his morale may affect the team, eventually he settled in to the area and became a solid purchase for the club. On the second occasion I played him as much as possible (32 out of 34 starts available) and the turnaround was much quicker.

My advice is stick with him and keep playing him, the problem seems to be the language barrier and once he learns English everything will be ok. Maybe buy another Brzilian to help him settle.
