Nomis07
Not much you can do? What are his reasons for wanting to leave? You can either play him despite his morale issues or sell him at a los if you think it may affect the team too much.

adam23newcastle
ask him to recommend a potential international/ex club mate then sign them! Bring something he misses back to the club or even a coach. Give him leave of abcence if that option is available. Normally if you give him 3 or 4 leaves of absence they finally/sometimes get used to the area and settle

Nomis07
I have had that before with Carvalho when I was Bayern Munich. It happened twice, on the first occasion I didn't play him as much as I thought his morale may affect the team, eventually he settled in to the area and became a solid purchase for the club. On the second occasion I played him as much as possible (32 out of 34 starts available) and the turnaround was much quicker. My advice is stick with him and keep playing him, the problem seems to be the language barrier and once he learns English everything will be ok. Maybe buy another Brzilian to help him settle. lukegjpotter
Scower the Free transfer listings for brazilians with EU passports to make it easier, Edinho and Cravalero (SP?) are free and good reserve players.
FrazT
Keep playing him and as long as he is still performing, he should settle after 6-9 months.
