What's with taking the runs/arrows out?

I don't like how it's gone down the FM Live route of tactics, I like the little dots telling you if the player can play well in that position or not but the fact I can't tell a player where to run is very annoying. It's almost like I'm not telling the players what I want them to do.

Also, on a side note, why is the match engine so laggy and slow? It's like my computer is coughing it along and my PC ran FM 2008 fine and dandy. When the match starts it takes about a minute just to load the player dots and stuff, I'm hoping it's just the demo and will have changed when it's released.

I love everything about the demo, I think it's going to be great but these two things are bugging me to death, it's a chore having to play a match.

The farrows and barrows never told players to run forward or backwards.
