LordGek
Hey Gang, An absolute favorite aspect of mine from the PC series is playing with an ENTIRELY fictional/generated player and staff database. The team names, relative finances, quality of players, etc. would be close to their real life counterparts but the actual players and staff could be entirely generated. I'm assuming this is not possible in the PSP version at this point?
Richie_Magpies
You could, just get to 2020.
LSD
I know what he means... It's a tick box at the start, there's nothing like that for the PSP unfortunately!
LordGek
You could, just get to 2020. You might be onto something here! Play some minor league for many years and when ready take over some bigger club after it has had several seasons worth of simulated play and therefore evolved into something totally unique in my little game world. Richie_Magpies
Ah, I got it. Start unemployed, like, resign as soon as you start, then go on Holiday for as long as you can, and keep holidaying until 2020.
nerner
Yep, that would get you a completely regen database, but the only problem is that you only have about 10-15 seasons to play, so maybe a tick box at the start would be good.
ridley99
could well be an idea for FMH10
Ashley_Tofte
Personally would appeal to me, as i get bored of playing so many games where i know who to buy for each league && competition so i like this idea. Big thumbs up from me.
O\'Hara_fan
I like playing with regen players in the PC version, don't think it would be hard to do. I like the idea, be nice to see in 2010
nerner
Could it be as simple as getting one players first name and anothers second name, so it could be. Robbie Keane + Aaron Lennon = Aaron Keane + Robbie Lennon.
O\'Hara_fan
But that would make it to obvious, proper regen names are like Paul Woods or Andy McGowan.
nerner
Good point, but you could take some random unknown players, and just mix their names up together.
crickie
i think it would be a good idea because ive got kind of bored with the database on fmh 08 becuase thier is no unfound talent to be found anymore and you always know who to buy now. Drunk Beware
I have a question about the leagues in FMH 09, i may aswell post in this thread. To start as a lower club say in the Conference does that mean you will only be able to load the English Leagues and not move countries later on? Oh and does the season limit still stand at 30?
ridley99
30 season limit does still apply

I think, IIRC, if you pick a team with the "Primary" League, you can't move countries. It's the same with the PC though.
St.Dazzle
I have a question about the leagues in FMH 09, i may aswell post in this thread. To start as a lower club say in the Conference does that mean you will only be able to load the English Leagues and not move countries later on? As far as I know, you can start as a Conference team with England selected as the Primary league. However, you can also select upto 3 more foreign leagues to move to later on, but only their top division is available.
crickie
What would happen if say i was managing liverpool in england and the french divivsion only had the top league with full squad in and i left to join lyon would all the french teams have full squads then or on the top french division. If that made sense at all!!!!
ridley99
i think just the top teams in france, plus which ever were relegated when you started the game im guessing as teams will have to be relegated/promoted
sashur_8
But that would make it to obvious' date=' proper regen names are like Paul Woods or Andy McGowan.[/quote']yeah maybe even Lee ridley(lolz),Diego Maradona, ronaldo de assis moreira and Abedi Pele
