New Graphics Card Please :)

Hey all, I'm deciding to replace my banger of a GFX card.

Its a radeon 9200 128mb.

But i need to know what to buy and what will fit my pc?

I have a emachines 5230 512mb ram

intel pentiumm 4 2.80ghz,

Use the AGP slot then,

ATI do a 3850 AGP but this is beyond your budget and the rest of your system.

Try and find a cheap ATI 1650 or if you can stretch a 1950.

Also, change to 1gb of RAM.

This will greatly improve the new version of FM and allow you to play in 3d.

nah, that's almost the same as you have now. I've already linked you to one that's miles better.

Look for geforce 6600gt, 6800 gs or gt.

This would do great.

trekman their meant to be bad... im stuck on what to buy

While its true that pcworld is not everyone's favourite place for various reasons I though the card wasn't too bad considering the price.

PC World aren't bad for just buying something - but when the price is correct. Steer clear of their extras (ie, technical "assistance"), make sure you know prices elsewhere and they're perfectly fine.
