Deltaroad
I have a core 2 quad processor so it's fast but FM processing speed seems to be really slow. Starting a match is slow, and those long match days processors seems to be slower then 08.
playmaker
The match engine will be more complex than before, so it is quite possible that the processing takes a bit longer. The one place it is clearly slower is in loading the 3D for the first highlight, but I have not noticed any slow down elsewhere
backpackant
Not for me. Runs smooth in between matches (2GB ram, dual 2 core). Which is why I'm mystified about my jerky 3D view.
xFeaReDxSHaDoWx
Mine is shorter, FM08 Took ages compared to this,
Rb
In general the processing seems to be faster, and I also have a quad core processor. The loading for a match is longer, but thats no suprise as theres 3d to take into account now.

Don't forget the video card. If that is not supported or on the lower end, then you will get a bad performance running 3D view.

I`m confused why is the requirement for the 3d graphic card so high.. the graphics look like a game from the year 2001. If those games could run on shitty cards why this one requires crazy graphics.. Mr.S!N
Processing in between 'Continues' seems to be faster for me this year. 'Setting Up Match' though takes a bit longer when watching 3D, and does go 'Not Respnding' for a couple of seconds every time. And thats with an C2D E600 OCd at 3GHz, 4GB ram and 8800GTX
Carl87
Mine runs fine. Fast, in fact. Quad Core @ 2.40GHz. 3GB RAM.
Nicolai87
Takes 6 seconds to set up a match for me, which I'm happy with. Intel Quad Q9550 ATI Radeon 4870X2 4gb RAM (well, only 3,2gb becasuse I only have 32-bit Vista)

If those games could run on shitty cards why this one requires crazy graphics.. I'm no specialist in that department so I cannot answer that question unfortunately. What I can recommend however is, if you are having a jerky 3D view, try selecting the "Low" level of quality in the Preferences section and also untick the options to display the sky, and the other things that are available. That will give you a boost in performance.
Deltaroad
3d seems fine, it is a bit jerky at times but that's not the problem. I need to play it a bit more get use to things. Just worried that when the game comes out and I normally have 3/4 nations running that the processing speed will decline significantly. The demo only allows 1 league to be run and that seems slow to me.
geordie_allan
i know what your saying mr sin there is a considerable length of time loading up the 3d is jerky and ive noticed the time of the clock jumps to about 2-3mins while the players are either standing still or the game freezes for almost 30-40 secs, seriously needs to be addressed,by the way stadiums look poor quality look like old sinclair graphics,or an old bat and ball console (binatone if i remember rightly lol)
