Demo problems caused by Steam?

Hi all

I downloaded the demo using Stream and the game constantly crashed , so I downloaded the direct download version and after a few hours of playing I have had none of the problems that I had when playing the demo using stream.

So to all the people having problems are you using Stream? as for me this was what was causing the problem

The demo is great by the way, apart from a few minor bugs, I cannot wait to play the full game.
