timmy
Can I just copy and paste the graphics file (all the player pictures and logos etc) from Fm 2008 to Fm 2009 demo? I tried it but it does not seem to work or am I missing a certain step? Suggestions. thanks
feedthegoat
Doesn't work, I've tried it. Pretty sure a lot of people over at fmglive and sortitoutsi aren't going to be to happy, if last years graphics and all of the graphics they've worked on since aren't compatible. Unless of course someone has a solution.
postal postie
i dont see why player pics and logos wouldn't work. their linked to the ID's of them. it might just be because its the demo. i mean the fm07 pics (non cut outs) worked on the fm08 (cut outs). TomDixon77
Logos and player pics should be fine, like so: I don't know about kits, as the default ones are totally different and there seems to be a few changes to the way skins work, but until there's a new archive extractor tool, I don't know exactly what. Make sure that you've unticked 'Use Skin Cache', if you've got logos that aren't showing up.
MyNameIsJohn
Yep worked for me. I dragged over all my logos and kits. Unticked that cache malarkey and I was away.

JimmyIOCS
Solution is untick the skin cache and it all works. thanks guys... Now I wonder if the skins in Fm2008 will work in the demo... No chance. And you could run into all sorts of problems if you try.

Mal
on Vanilla it is not possible to customize the game, but Strawberry you can, On vanilla it simply turned the pitch black like a dark hole.
urbanjunkie
Works perfectly fine for me. I have facepacks and logos all working with the demo. No issues at all.
ScfcFtwMal
But yes, on Strawberry it is fully customisable. The kits are a bit stretched and a mod might be needed.
andy139s
some fm2008 skins work been trying a few today to find which will work best so far the best is dark collection but flex graviti08 and continue skins all work just need to change 1 number in the config xml then just open demo and select skin from list like you did in fm2008 and ensure you tick load skin on confirm and untick cache box then confirm and away you go currently using dark collection fm2008 version with all my graphic packs and FM2009 looks excellent
