DietSpam
I'm just going to buy the boxed version, but have already pre-ordered through steam. How do you cancel that one? Loving the game btw.

Pope of Pot, King of Nothi
Nope. Straight out of the bank account soon as you hit purchase.
Bardia
This is ridiculous! I want to cancel my pre-order of WWSM and just buy boxed FM but I can't cancel even though I haven't downloaded the game yet? Like most legit places, with a pre-order they should only CHARGE once the order is shipped (or in their case, the download becomes available). Ranbir
Try calling Steam Support. They may have phone or email details in their help section. Otherwise..yeah it sucks. A shame if Valve don't allow it. Stardock Impulse platform allows refunds. They don't charge your pre-orders until the day of release, though. saberhagen83
Should be able to get your money back. Usually when pre-ordering from any other company the money is "frozen" in your account and withdrawn when you get the product. Try contact Steam and see what they say. Would be suprised if it isn't possible to cancel a pre-order.
Bardia
I've contacted them by email, waiting on a reply.
Horatio_Underpants
found this on steam -don't actually know how you go about doing it though ... As with most software products, we will not offer refunds for purchases made online as outlined in the software license - please review Section 4 of the Steam Subscriber Agreement for more information. We can make an exception for pre-ordered games if the request is received prior to the release date.
Head Honcho
I've contacted them by email, waiting on a reply. Don't hold your breath. I sent Steam an email 2 weeks ago to cancel my pre-order. They never responded. I do not like their policy of charging your credit card immediately for pre-orders.

kwallace75
find someone who wants it on steam and offer to them as a gift. Then, get them to pay you for it. I'm thinking about getting it on steam (I'm in Malaysia) If you can't find anyone else, let me know
PGB_SPURS_FM09
That is disgusting customer service if that is the case. You don't even have the game yet!
Head Honcho
call your bank and cancel the payment. It was a credit card purchase. My bank has nothing to do with it.
