SI Staff Michael Burling Posted November 2, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted November 2, 2008 You'll find now you can just select an option on the Squad bar that says Available for Reserves, you can set this option so he can play reserve game and be involved in first team to get him match fit and then remove it once he is match fit. playmaker Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 I like the new way of doing it - means I can keep the player in my first team squad, keep an eye on his fitness myself and I know exactly who is playing reserve football because of the Rsv icon. I used to forget who I had sent to the reserves, or I would have someone in the reserve squad, but selected for the subs bench and not realise they were tired. Much better this way. It was more of a hindrance having a player with low condition because he played a reserve game when not match fit rather than have him with 95% condition, play him, then he'll have gained some fitness anyway and be ready for the next match or the one after. There are no features left out of the demo, Miles has made that clear several times. I also miss this feature as I used it alot and I feel it helps cut down the repeat injuries.
