Stadium Pics / Are they back in FM09?

Noticed this part of the first post of the demo thread, mentions the lack of graphics in the vanilla demo....i wonder with the game moving to DVD and the increased space this offers will we get stadium pics back for the licensed leagues?!!!

The Game is going to Dvd >_< does it matter what Dvd player your computer has ?

Shouldn't do, Shaman. If you're in doubt, you can just download it from STEAM though, to keep youself covered.

Based on the most recent blog at HMV it seems the stadiums around the 3D Pitch are potentially built by the community. Not sure exactly how this will work but its very promising. Hopefully more info will be release on this.

I used to love the stadium pics in the old Champ Man games.

I used to love drawing a lower league team in cup just to see the stadium pic. Then sometimes in Europe against some obscure Eastern European side you would kick-off and a stadium pic you had never seen before would unexpectedly appear.

Sounds really sad and trivial now looking back, but at the time I loved them.

No stadium pics but judging from screenshots there will be various stadia in the 3d representation. Probably will be very basic - may just be small, medium and large stadia - but with the possibility of creating your own it sounds very promising. :thump:

I loved the stadiums too but its quite easy to to download some and add them to the game. If you check out the editors bit on these forums

You can still use your imagination and I feel this is only a feature till FM10 when the 3D will advance even more. Come on these look great in my opnion and Im sure an option will exist to have no stadium at all so it wont affect your game at all.
