Who's in your league now?

Recommended Posts

Since I find it quite amusing in FM08 to see the smaller clubs soar and the big clubs fall. I thought up this thread.

I'm in the English Premier League with Chelsea in 2010/2011 and Aston Villa are a Champions League regular, Ipswich,Sheffield Wednesday and West Brom are also in the Premiership with Derby, Wigan and Birmingham going down.

Plus special mention must go to Crewe (starting in League 1) who got relegated 3 times in a row and are now sitting mid-table in Blue Square North.

Screenies if possible

Yeah this interests me also. Can't remember exact details myself, but i do remember in 08 around 2010 onwards Fulham became part of the 'big' clubs in the premier league, around 2018 Racing were a dominate force in Spain and won the league and poor old Middlesbrough were on the verge of league two football.

yeah barca finished 15th on mine!

this happens on mine to i don't get it they have the best youth team in whole spain (in my opinion)

and when i managed them in the first season i won the league and the champions league with henry scoring more then 50 goals, they can be easy to play with i just don't get it how the AI messes things up

you could say that they don't perform well now or the previous season but still 15th is way below

Wow. Barca not in top flight! What's happened to their players like Nojan, Messi, dos Santos, Henry, Eto'o, Iniesta?

Bojan went to Real Madrid :p

Messi's at Man City

Dos Santos is at Arsenal

Henry is long retired so I'm not sure

Eto'o - Same as Henry

Iniesta went to Écija, i the Second Division B, but he's old now.

Premier League has changed massively. There is no 'top 4' anymore and anyone apart from some promoted teams can win if they have a decent run.

The Championship is pretty cool as well. A lot of big teams IRL down there.

Mention to Everton and Nottingham Forest as well. League 1 and League 2 respectively

I'm in 2033, and it's all pretty much as you'd expect with a few minor exceptions. The most interesting teams in my leagues are;

Championship: Newcastle, Accrington, Aldershot (me!)

League 1: Reading, Birmingham, Norwich, Wolves, Southampton

League 2: Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Forest

Serie B: AC Milan

torquay? in 2014? awesome

my brother (gus crazy) did it. he just found the perfect tactic and players to fit in his counter-attacking 4-3-3. after he was sacked for losing 4 straight games conceding 21 took over reading in march 2014 with them struggling and kept them up. also they start in league 2 not the blue square prem/conference.

In 2027 the likes of Leeds, Bristol City, Carlisle, Swansea, Coventry, Sheff Wed, Wolves and Southampton are in the Premiership nowadays. Chelsea aren't in the Premiership anymore, neither are Blackburn, Man City, Boro or Newcastle.

Whats happened to Chelsea?

Im at towards the end of the 2019/2020 season, apart from Man U becoming a mid table team, reading dropping into league and grays on the verge of championship football nothing much has changed. Real Madrid just escaped relegation the season after I left them but thats just Tubby Benitez for you.

The furthest I am in any game is in 2010/2011 and am playing all leagues in England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Fulham got relegated in the frst seaon and bounced straight back and are now in the UEFA Cup.

In 2009/10 Portsmouth finshed 5th in the Premiership level with Arsenal.

Liverpool have won the Premiership twice.

Reading won the FA Cup

Norwich and Ipswich are now in League 1.

Wrexham are at the top of League 1 with 13 games gone.

Swindon are 3rd in the Championship at this time.

Toulouse got relegated to Ligue 2.

Nuremburg almost won the Bundesliga.

Dortmund got relegated

Wolfsburg got relegated.

Dortmund are second bottom of the Second Division after 10 games.

Hoffenheim relegated from the German Second Division.

Deportivo got relegated from La Liga, but bounced back.

Betis also relegated but bounced back.

Racing and Osasuna also relegated.

Terrasa promoted and doing well in the BBVA.

Whats happened to Chelsea?

They are currently struggling in the Championship. Barely beat relegation last season and are bottom 16 games into this season.

Margate were the first non league club to establish themselves in the Championship, but have since dropped all the way back down to the Conference again.

Welling have come closest to go from non league to Premier League, losing the playoff final three seasons ago.
