Geronimo360
My DVD drive broke on my laptop and i cant afford a new one, as one for my machine is 50 pounds This means i cant play FM 2008 and i am not willing to pay extra for Stream for FM 2009. Is there anyway i can play the game without using a DVD drive i.e Upload the data to a memory stick and play it off that??? (Dont suggest using a torrent or some illegal thing as im not doing that)
feedthegoat
In a word no. The game needs to read the disc for copy protection. How about getting an external DVD drive? You can pick one up cheap enough nowadays.
YesYesOhYay
as feedthegoat said- get an external dvd drive that you just plug into a usb slot- probably the best thing to do!

Daley
You might find that a third party external (USB connected) DVD player will be cheaper such as this Freecom example http://www.pcwb.com/catalogue/item/A0225721 Not saying that is the cheapest you can get but it might be better than hunting for an internal one for your machine.
