How has the 3D View affected your decision to buy FM09

Personally, I would have got FM09 without the 3D view but really look forward to seeing it

Not at all. The other features sound like the transition from FM08 toFM09 is a bigger step forward than the one last year even without the 3D view.

I'm looking forward to seeing it, but I was always planning on buying the game anyway.

Nothing would've stopped me buying FM09.

The 3D view did nothing to aid my decision but has whetted my appetite that little bit more. (a whole lot more)

Really, if the regens and transfers work well, FM09 might be the next 0102

I see two people have said 3D is the reason that they will get FM09, any reasons why?

It's a great bonus to have the 3D and I'm really looking forward to it. But with all the other features, and an improved match engine that's been taken from FML which has been extensively tested, I would of got FM09 anyway

I've been buying and playing the game since it started and I will continue to until I die.

I have always bought FM but i had decided to no longer purchase these games as i have been unhappy with FM08. I have the hang of the game but the excitement had gone for me. However now FM09 will have 3D i will purchase it.

I don't care about 3D tbh. It hasn't affected my decision at all.

Can you're laptop run LMA 2007? If it can then 3D will be fine as it is not very detailed.

I was going to buy FM09 anyway but the new 3D match engine has made it even more desirable for me! It is the future of FM and therefore I don't know why there are so many complaints from forum members about it. It is the feature that I am looking forward to the most in FM09 .

Never tried LMA2007, but I returned to my old TCM2003 over the weekend just to remind myself what that was like and it crashes quite regularly - probably something graphics card related (unless it was just a bug - I seem to remember it crashed a few times on my old PC) and system requirements, even for "not very detailed" 3D have moved on quite a few notches since TCM2003!

google "can you run it" and use that site to test your laptop against games like Fifa Manager 2007 and LMA along with other games with not that great graphics

Altertanively, you could wait for the release of the system requirements which will be released some time today I believe.

i buy the game regardless. Always have and always will lol.

3D is almost irrelevant for me really even though I will give it a fair go. I purchase FM simply because its the best and the competition can't match it.

CM before now FM is a no brainer for me.

Regardless of the criticism, bugs and so on I will eventually buy the game. I always do in fact, never knowingly missed a version. I also generally for my sins buy the other 2 (competitors!) cheap and after a couple of months flog them down at the local computer exchange shop.

I always keep FM until just before the new iteration comes out, and then sell that as well down at the computer exchange shop. That way my house is not cluttered with many and varied footie management games.

The 3d excites as I like visuals and coupled with SI’s superb match engine, wide screen (\o/) and all the other new stuff then as I said no brainer.

3D view hasn't really affected my decision tbh, I probably won't use it much anyway.

I would have bought 09...eventually...(after years of buying on release day, since CM2, I swore to myself I would wait until 1st patch before buying this year).

However, the plethora of new features (3D included) have got me pre-ordering again...Damn you SI!!!

FM has always had 200PA, how quickly can that be reached, it has been 185 for a couple of years

I don't really care about the 3D thing, and will buy the game either way but i'm not all that interested in any of the new features, so I might even hold off until I see it on the bargains shelf.

Feel much the same way tbh. I was kinda wishing it WASN'T the 3D match engine when the Che stuff started to appear but rather something less superficial. Alas t'was not to be.

I didn't vote as there isn't a 'not bothered' option.

3d is just another feature, like any others- doesnt affect my desision tooo much at all!

the 3d view has put me off quite a bit as I just know that it will take them years to get it right as it did the 2d engine. 3d just seems wholly unnecessary. Will try the demo and see how it plays, if I'm going to be honest I'll probably end up buying the game in a few months.

I will get it regardless of what they put in it! I'm that hooked!
