After a stupid number of years in charge I've now managed to make it so I can't lose an ultimatum... ...mainly because there is nothing the board don't agree with me on! My current wage budget is £2.36 million per week, and I'm only using some £1.12 million per week (47.5%). So let's see what everyone else has... glamdring Posted October 27, 2008 Share Posted October 27, 2008 I think I'm allowed something like £640k p/w at Werder Bremen, but since we are in danger of financial meltdown I have so far sold ~4-5 players in January and bumped my actual wage bill down from ~610k to 490k so ~80%. Nice to see that the Bremen board are quite happy to let me hang myself (job-wise) and ruin the club though without taking responsibility for setting sensible limits themselves (apart from only allowing 10% transfer revenues back into the kitty) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a couple more high-earners leaving in July so that should drop again to around £650k, my overall budget will most likely go up again too.
