ANDEHLSON
Dunno if this should be here or in the Editors Hideout but ... The first patch (i guess) usually has fixes for competition bugs, prizes etc... What i wanted to know is if those changes are stored in some file, in the exe. or in the new patch's db? example: i create some db on 9.0.0 . Then 9.0.1 patch is released. If I start a new game with the edited 9.0.0 db will the competition fixes be there?
feedthegoat
Yes, they should be. See no reason why they shouldn't be. I've used databases I've created on an older patch and then updated to a newer patch and they've worked fine, so no reason why it shouldn't be any different on FM09. Neji
The changes are made in the exe, so you can use any db and still have the fixes.
TheOriginalJez
The important fixes will be there - but usually the patches come with data updates too or changes to mistakes in the database that then wouldn't be in your changed db. Nothing really to worry about so long as you're happy with the gameplay though, it never bothered me.
