Denmark Superleague- the football's IPL

Denmark has one of the highest tax rates in the world. It is 1999 and the goverment wants to have a league that can challengem the Premiership and Serie A etc. So the goverment have agreed with big buissesmen to cut their income tax rates if they buy a club.

The goverment have built 12 65,000 seater stadiums and top training facilities. Each club can have any manager in the world that they want but must have at least 4 Scandinavians.

The news have circulated around the world and the broadcast rights were being sold up to £50 m a year.

The league's reputation is now 18.

The cup's reputation is now 15.

Each club's reputation is now 18/20.

Each club will start of with 8 players, which you choose. (only players around in 1999 will be allowed)

1 No. Fensmark got to the Champions league group stage but had in their group Ajax, Real Madrid and Man United. As a result they came bottom with just one point in a 1-1 draw against Real (but Real did actually win the whole thing.

sse won the intertoto cup but got knocked out in the second round and MM got to the quater finals.

2. No. Copenhagen sacked Sven and apponted peter Brae and special appointed Sven as joint manager and Elite appointed Javier Clemente as joint- manager.

3 No. But Enrique and Totti went to Barca, Cafu went to Juventus and Barthez wen to marseille.

4. A few did. eagles signed Fran, Elite signed Lorenzo Amorouso and Taribo West. Fensmark signed Kily Gonzalez and martin Petrov and mk signed Fonseca,Coupet,lehhman and basler. MM brought gallas and Maerko brought chilavert and bograde.

5. Too soon to tell but 3rd place Mm beat 9th placed Copenhagen on penalties in the cup final after a 2-2 draw.

6. No. Denmark came 3rd in their European Championship qualifying group and came below Wales.
