Have You Ever Bought from Play.com?

I have preordered 2 games from Play.com and I would like to know if anyone has ever bought off play.com and if so how long did it take before they got their products?

i have, your product should arrive on the day of release. play.com is a good reliable website

Normally it takes 3-5 days but part of that is paying and packaging and that shouldn't really affect pre-orders, Cod 5 and FM09?

I just ordered FM09 and it will come either 1 day before, on, or 1 day after release day

I've pre-ordered FM from Play.com for the past 3 years. I live in the North of England and it usually arrives the day before release or on release date.

They're inconsistent - sometimes you get it a few days before, sometimes you get it a few days after.

Pre-Ordered Warhammer Online CE, Received pre-order pack like 3 months before I needed it, received my CE box the day before official game release.

i disagree, I have been using play for 7 years and never had a game after release day. It is always day before or on day of release. maybe it's where you live lol

they sent me PES6 a few days before release. tbh, a game like FM i would rather have in hand when i buy it, because play.com have been more inconsistant than brilliant.

i've had 3 out of 5 products i've bought refunded because they didn't turn up, or were not in stock when i paid (you shouldn't be able to pay if something isn't in stock usually).

asda just round the corner anyway, i'll get it from there on release.

play have never let me down. always on time (if not before) and problem free.

However....you get a free FM09 usb mouse from HMV for the same price as plays - could be worth a punt

Buy a lot of books, DVD's and CD's from Play & Amazon, I have never received a pre-order after the official release day, sometimes a day early, sometimes on the official day. These things vary IME.
