Most reallistic Football Manager ever.

I believe that the most reallistic and the best fm ever was fm2007...What do you believe.

Each year FM seems to proggres , so hopefully this time next month i will be saying the same fo FM09 , which i am sure i will be

FM08 is better than 07 and 09 sounds streets ahead of 08

07 was much better than 08. Less bugs, less gimics (pitch size, for example), a better match engine, etc.

I would give my vote for FM07

FM07 was more realistic imo.

Fm 07 was more realistic in some ways, at least the regens appeared more balanced.

I voted for FM08, but I think it's extremley close between that and 07. There are things in 08 that are more realistic then in 07 and vice versa.

FM07, FM08 is not that realsitic IMO.

05 : didn't play it

06: AI cracking tactics ...

07: Cech is on the bench because Chelsea uses a "grey" ..a far better "grey"

08: sold a player for 30.000.000e to a 3rd Greek division club , sold a player for 35.000.000e to a Bulgarian side...

I think 07 is the most fun to play

FM07 - i don't like the FM08's ME with very few dribbling and too much long shot.

IMO FM gets better and better each year. SI keep adding new feautures which allows FM to keep up to date with football in the RL.

I believe that FM09 will be the most realistic FM ever, ovcourse there will be problems and bugs but what game doesn't have them?

FM07 gets my vote.

The main point that swung my decision was the fact that regens on FM08 are a load of old nonsense.

2006 was the only misstep in recent years IMO. so 2008 is the answer. still a long way away from genuinely being a simulation, but 2008 is the best effort so far.

FM08 is the most realistic in terms of management experience. But in terms of things that happen in the game, it gets a bit crazy. Ridiculous transfer fees for players that end up never playing, strikers that score four or five goals in a match on a fairly regular basis, etc etc.

Didn't like FM08. Media interaction was tedious, team talks were stupid, match engine had too many annoying bugs

FM07 was more enjoyable and my favourite so far

I quite liked 06 as it was the first I ever got so I just have good memorys of it

I personally find some of the transfers on FM08 a bit unrealistic. I'm referring to players moving to clubs that I just don't think they ever would. Shaun Wright-Phillips to Valencia, Aaron Lennon to Sevilla and David Bentley to Juventus are all examples from my game. I suppose you could argue that the game moves away from real life as soon as you start playing it, but I still can't help but squirm at transfers like those.

07 IMO, 08 was a big dissapointment for me.

I thought FM07 and FM08 were very similar, personally.

The last two FM's have been too easy! 2006 was a quality challenge.

in fm 2007 it was all about players with good technical stats but in fm 2008 they can be good with techincal and physical ND MENTAL STATS SO I VOTE 08

it obviously depends on what people consider 'realistic' and whether or not they are a casual gamer, or a hardcore gamer. For me it was FM08 though, although there wasn't much between FM08 and FM07 if i'm being entirely honest.

Wright-Phillips was at Chelsea and Bentley turned down Liverpool or they didn't meeg the asking price or something. Though I do agree that English players move abroad far too much.

2008 mat be more realistic, but it couldn't addict me to itself like 2007 did.

i have big expectations for FM09....carnt wait.
