So. Here's the deal:

Ten people from this board get an truly unique chance to shape their clubs to their liking. The league concerned is the Austrian Bundesliga, where all the teams will be replaced by teams created by the first ten people who sign up here. The lucky ones are gonna answer an questionnaire, in which they will define how the club will look like. To prevent them from making the club too strong, there is a limit. Will be explained below. The game will be running on the latest Weegie update, both playable leagues of the Austrian football will be loaded with a large database.

Right, as rancer890 noted, the ten people metioned made it. I alredy set up the database, but before we start the great show, a things should be noted: Which team replaces which has been randomly chosen aswell. So the new team gets the players and (if present) place in the continental championships from the old one. Don't worry, this WAS intended. It will be interesting to see how/if the clubs evolve.

2007/2008 - July

Transfers:

All Starz Galacticos -> released Peter Neidhart and Nermin Jusic on free transfer. Both were reserve players and did not make appearence for Galacticos in July.

Club van der Football -> sold Marcel Schreter to Kapfenberg for 2000 Euros. Schreter was only a reserve player for CVDF, not making an appearance during July.

Real Blowcrapup AFC -> loaned defender Michael Obermair to St. Polten. He too was only a reserve player.

Fortvale -> the most active team during July. Landed three players, Peruans Marko Ciurlizza for 1,8M from Allianza Lima and Jorge Soto on free plus Nigerian veteran player Jay-Jay Okocha on free too. Fortvale also let reserve player Roland Gerdenitsch go on free transfer.

Austrian Bundesliga:

Start of the season saw Austrian Ninja Fighters rise to the top of the table with three straight wins, ending the month with one away defeat. Tipped by media to win the Bundesliga this season, All Starz Galacticos lie 5th after July. The Bundesliga has only begun, so literally everything is possible.

Intertoto Cup:

The first team involved in Europe was Mackems United and it drew Bohemians from Ireland in the Intertoto Cup. Playing the first leg away, it netted three goals against the Irishmen. Rooney was the author of two, so certianly he will become a valuable member of the team.

The second leg, surprisingly, was a bigger challenge for Mackems United as the won only by one goal margin, 2-1. Who knows how would this match end if the Irishmen didn't bag one own? The only regular scorer for Mackems was Rooney, sealing the Second Round of Intertoto with an impressive 3 goals in 2 matches.

In the third round, Mackems drew Sivasspor from Turkey and again played the first leg away. This time, however, Sivasspor prevailed, yet only by a one goal margin, 1-0.

Mackems last match in the Intertoto Cup was a draw. At home, they only managed to bag one goal and get one scored against them. 1-1 was the result with Sivasspor advancing to the UEFA Cup with a 2-1 aggregate win.

UEFA Cup:

Two teams were present in the UEFA Cup, Salzburg Bees and Real Blowcrapup. Both played their first leg home and both managed to win. Salzburg had some minor problems however, winning 2-1 and having one of their players recieve red card against Karvan from Azerbaijan. Real Blowcrapup on the other hand, managed to win 3-0 against Albanian Vllaznia.

2007/2008 - August

Transfers:

With August comes the end of the first transfer window.

Fortvale -> Again the most active team concerning bringing players in, the first one was Frantisek Rajtoral for 400K from Banik Ostrava and the second one, the hot Dentinho for 6M from Corinthians.

Club van der Football -> Peruans seem to be a hit this season, with the third one coming to the Bundesliga via CVDF. Juan Jayo arrived from Allianza Lima for 130K.

Real Blowcrapup AFC -> only loaned 30 year old Japanese defender Tsuneyasu Miyamoto to Swiss FC Zurich, who hasn't played a game for Blowcrapup this season.

Austrian Bundesliga:

August brought us some early season surprises. For example, Fortvale emerged from their last spot misery and rose 3 places, having one game advantage against the leaders of the table. Ninja Fighters' form declined and they lost their first place, managing to get only one more win in August, while drawing and losing twice both. Blowcrapup are into some serious trouble, while they managed to fare quite well in the UEFA Cup, Austrian Bundesliga is torment for them as of now. Bagging only 5 goals in 8 matches so far, not winning one game is surely gonna bring some consequences if they don't tune up their form.

The player of the league currently is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. With 7 goals, 4 MOM awards and the highest average match rating he surely is one of the factors of Fortvale advance through the table.

Continental championships:

UEFA Cup:

August brought us the second leg of UEFA Cup 1st Qualifying round and both legs of the 2nd Qual. Both Austrian teams managed to win their first legs and so did they in their second legs. Away from home, the Bees defeated Karvan 2-0, and Blowcrapup drew in a 1-1 match with Vllaznia from Albania.

In the Second Qual. Round, Blowcrapup drew Norwegian Valerenga, holding them to a goalless draw at home. Salzburger Bees got Kiryat-Shmona from Israel and defeated them 2-0 at home. However, both teams were defeated away from home. Managing only to secure a draw at the home tie, the 1-3 defeat at Valerenga's home stadium sent Blowcrapup packing, while the Bees were somewhat lucky to escape with only one goal in their net in their 0-1 defeat against Shmona.

UEFA Champions League:

All Starz Galacticos, the only Austrian team in the Champions League, drew Dinamo Tbilisi in the Second Qual. Round and won 3-1 on aggregate, winning 2-0 at home and drawing 1-1 in Tbilisi. The Third Round however, brought a bigger challenge to the Galacticos. Dinamo Kiev from Ukraine visited Austrian Galacticos with high hopes, but were sent home crying when the Starz bagged them two goals and conceded none. Only getting a 1-1 draw in the second tie, Kiev only managed to get a place in the UEFA Cup, while Starz will get their chance to play in the Champions League Group Stage!

Galacticos fans certainly can expect some serious football, as Galacticos' three group-mates are Olympique Lyon, A.C. Milan and Schalke!

BTW: if anyone wants too see the fixtures of some team, or perhaps the lower Austrian league, just say so.

2007/2008 - October to January

Austrian Bundesliga:

With the half-season came some surprises in the Bundesliga. Not at the top, where the 1st place was a battlefield for Graz and Galacticos, both teams holding it for some time. Fortvale definitely emerged from the bottom of the table and steadily keeps itself around 6th place. The last place wasn't held by one team for too long either, Club van der Football, Mackems and Real Blowcrapup AFC threw it around themselves like a hot potato. With the 20 point difference between the top and the bottom of the table, media consider it nearly impossible for the last teams to seriously mount a title challenge. But who knows, if Rooney can play in the Austrian Bundesliga, what else can happen?

The top player in the league remains Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Wayne Rooney slowly begins to climb up the tables and who knows who will be the best men at the end of the season. Fortvale signings Rajtoral and Ciurlizza show that they were good buy transfers.

The second transfer window is just behind the door, so we can expect something exciting to happen.

Salzburg continued their adventure in the UEFA Cup against AA Gent in the First Round. Managed to win 5-0 on the aggregate, 3-0 away, 2-0 at home. Advanced easily to the Group Stage, drawing Everton, Paris Saint-Germain, Hertha BSC and Ajax.

The Group Stage began rather nice for Salzburg, when they clinched a 2-0 win away at Hertha, losing the next game however, succumbing 0-1 to Ajax at home. Another defeat came at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain 1-2 in France and it's last game was a 1-1 draw at home against Everton. Finished 4th in Group A, only 2 points behind 3rd Ajax. Considering it's Bundesliga form, Salzburg has been rather imppressive in the UEFA Cup, good work!

UEFA Champions League:

Austrian fans placed high hopes on Galacticos in the Group Stage of the Champions League. Starz didn't begin quite up to their expectations however, losing 0-2 at Schalke and drawing Lyon 1-1 at home. Following was a double match with AC Milan, first away then at home. Milan proved the superiority of Italian football over Austrian, winning 2-1 on both occasions. Galacticos' one and only win came with the home tie against Schalke, Starz managed to get revenge for their earlier loss against the Germans, winning 2-0. It's last match was a 1-2 defeat at Lyon. Galacticos ended 4th in their group and with them ended the Austrian presence in the continental Europe competitions.
