As FM2009 is likely to be released on DVD format this year, i'm guessing there will be a large amount of space still available on the disc. Do you think it would help new users if SI were to include a series of tutorial videos along with the manual? The videos would consist of someone at SI (or a voiceover) showing each area of the game using the the mouse pointer to direct the video. eg. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=uLFgwoxGCAI * These videos could then be added as an option on the main screen under a 'Manual/Video Tutorials' heading *forgive me if this video does not have a voiceover - i'm at work and don't have any sound. Nothing outstandingly brilliant about the idea but it could help people new to the whole gaming aspect. A manual should still be included though.
