It is a reality TV program, originally from Belgium it is now a popular program in the US, and had 2 successful series here in the UK during 2001. The basic aim of the game, is for the contestants to discover the identity of The Mole, a fellow contestant and then to answer the questions about them in a weekly quiz (done privately). The Sign-Up 20 complete strangers must work together to be in with a chance of winning a chance to become a life-time season ticket holder at their favorite football club. However one of the 20 is The Mole, a traitor, an insider, a saboteur. Each competitor is randomly* assigned one of the 20 English Premier Division sides to manage. The teams are then divided into 4 groups of* 5, to complete the challenges in. At the end of each week, the team that won the task will not have to take a quiz, involving 20* questions about the identity of The Mole. The individual that scores the least in the quiz is then eliminated from the competition. Week by week one person is eliminated, until finally there are 3 people: The Mole, *and the 2 remaining competitors. Which ever of the two competitors can* answer the most correct questions about The Mole, will win the competition. The Rules Strictly no discussions on who you think the mole is, whether you are the mole are not, or even things like ‘when will we find out if we’re the mole or not’ are allowed. If you are selected to be The Mole then you must follow every instruction provided, and will obviously have to keep it a strict secret. Requesting to be The Mole is strictly* un-allowed. You must also be reliable, if I ask for something to be done on a deadline, then it is crucial it is done by the deadline. One last thing: It is very important if you are to take part in this sign-up that you follow every instruction, and read every single bit of text*, just to make sure that you have when giving your sign-up form, you must post how many times the little star key has appeared in this* briefing. I have to know you will read everything that’s posted, as it will help you and me alike. Each competitor is randomly assigned one of the 20 English Premier Division sides to manage. - Once everyones signed up, each persons manager will be the manager of one of the 20 Premiership Teams The teams are then divided into 4 groups of 5, to complete the challenges in. - This is of course pretend, I will put 4 groups of 5 together from the 20 teams in the league, and then the combined results of the 'challenges' are posted At the end of each week, the team that won the task will not have to take a quiz, involving 20 questions about the identity of The Mole. The individual that scores the least in the quiz is then eliminated from the competition. - The challenges are fictional, and are based on things like, how many games your team wins in December, or how many goals your team scores in June etc. Then your groups points based on the fictional challenges, are added up. The winning group will not have to take the 'Quiz'. The quiz is on 'The Mole' one of the 20 competitors, who's in on everything (The Mole hasn't yet been picked, and wont be until the sign-up stage has been completed). The person that is The Mole may then sabotage tasks, potentially costing their team-mates place in the competition. The person who answers the least amount of correct questions on The Mole each week, (done via PM or email) is eliminated.
