Commentary disappeared during the match

When I played a match a strange thing happened. The commentary (at the bottom of the match screen) suddenly disappeared. Only empty commentary line was displayed.

Before starting new game I changed team colors in the editor. But I played a few games using this edited database. Additionally I played a lot of matches at this savegame before and such game behavior haven’t occurred before.

Do you know what happened, and how can I avoid it in the future?

That kind of thing happens to me occasionally when someone scores, but it's always come back within a few seconds

Sounds like a bug to me.

I think if you get out of the game, and back into it, it should re-set the commentary for you. (E.g., use the "back" button until you're out of the match, then come forward until you're back in it.)

Beyond that, I've seen it exactly once in all of the matches I've played of FM'08, so I wouldn't worry about it happening all the time.
