r0x0r
does anyone nkow where i can buy a good usb dvd drive for me to play football manager 2009 on  If you don't have a built in DVD drive, why not use Steam?
VonBlade
Because Steam is more expensive to purchase, installs a resident program on your system and requires internet access?
Neji
Because Steam is more expensive to purchase, installs a resident program on your system and requires internet access? More expensive than buying a drive and FM?
Jonfun1980
Also with steam you can't put in your own facepacks and logo's etc.
outlaw640
yes you can, it has been confirmed in the steam thread that the folder structure is the same as installing it from CD

VonBlade
More expensive than buying a drive and FM? Hmmm. FM from Play.com and a DVD drive from Scan.co.uk, it's getting close... (btw, is it Ne-Gee or Ne-he or or or??)
magicmastermind124
Hmmm. FM from Play.com and a DVD drive from Scan.co.uk, it's getting close... (btw, is it Ne-Gee or Ne-he or or or??) I think it's Neh-Jee. I also know it's a character from the Japanese manga and anime series called Naruto. There are both advantages and disadvantages to the DVD and Steam version of many games including FM09. I will most likely get the DVD version, but i'm fairly open so I could decide to go for the Steam version if it suits me better. Plus with Steam I always have the game when I buy it - I can always re-download it if need be.
