Patches

right, i know ill sound stupid but ive just downloaded a patch 7.0.2, so how do i get it onto the game? and also if you can tell me how to get different skins if you can?

I assume you are using FM07.

Anyway to get it to patch the game just download winrar from here.

Then install that and when that is done right click on the patch and choose extract here

Double click on the extracted patch and click update on the window that appears and click finish when it is done.

That should patch the game.

To install skins just you first need to download them and then right click on them and choose extract to..

Select this location: My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007.

Go into the game and in the display and sound preferences untick use skin cache and tick always reload skin on confirm and click confirm.

Go back into preferences and put them back the way they were.

Let me know if you need any more help.

P.S. Don't have the game running when you are installing the patch.
