luke01 Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 i was chelsea for 2 years was winning all major comps and i asked for an expansion and the board agreed with me so i waited for 4 months for an answer its really important as stamford bridge has abt 42,000 capacity but the local council reject permission for the expansion has any1 ever had this situation before wots the chance of getting a new stadium due to this problem Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

rinso Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 a new stadium is the only option. when you see that message it means the current ground has already reached its preset "expansion capacity" and cannot be expanded any further. it can take some time to get a new ground approved though... x42bn6 Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 I've had it rejected but oddly enough managed to squeeze out a 3,000-seat upgrade. Small change, though, as now my stadium has 53,000 seats. It's a bit of a problem as I didn't take into account Matías Fernández's wages when I signed him, and now he's turned me from making a healthy profit into breaking-even every month...
