MINCE_BPBFB Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 my dilema is iv just moved out, and currently having to play fm on a laptop, but its just the original fm08, i put the patch and update on a disk but it wont work saying internet explorer cant open it as i have no internet for the time being, anyone got a way round about it? i think i need winrar on the disk, is that possible? isuckatfm Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 The patch is an application file. It's icon should look like the 08 icon (purple ball with 08 in grey on it). What you are clicking is probably not the patch file itself as it does not need IE to install. Maybe you have a shortcut to the link or the torrent file but not the patch application file itself?
