Postponing games?

I think on older versions you could request a match postponement(?) well I'm about to go into a match and 7 first teamers are on international duty, one player is suspended so I've only got 13 players (including 3 keepers, out of the other 10 players I have 6 defenders 3 strikers and 1 midfielder) so is it possible to try and get this postponed? How?

It isn't possible to get it postponed. Sometimes the FA will postpone it depending on the amount of first-team players on international duty.

No it's not but you're right, you did used to be able to, it's supposed to do it automatically for you now but it doesn't always when cup games are involved i find.

I've had 3 games in 3 days before also because of awful rescheduling.

I don't think it's in FM any more, but I can remember it being in CM00/01 I think.

It was in CM IIRC , would like to see postponements in FM09 , would make it even more realistic

Yes, I was thinking about this subjest just last night when after a successful season I had something like 8 importoant games in 17 days?

It reminded me of the times when you could apply to postpone games - MUST be brought back in my opinion?

Thanks for your help, I'll have to make do with reserve players and out of position players.
