Reedyfc
I'm about to buy a new laptop, I have always played FM on a hardrive computer (seperate monitor and stuff like that) Now my mum says its for "college work". She persits to say that "Games arent designed for laptops" etc etc. It drives me up the wall! I was wondering if FM can run on a laptop, if so how do I hide the fact I have FM on my laptop!? Any suggestions are more than welcome!!
Scotty Walds
Yes it runs on laptop - laptop are simply desktop computers, but modified for mobility. You could hide it by installing it, then changing the shortcut item and renaming it Encarta or something...
NCFC Gee
A laptop can 100% run FM as long as it's powerful enough which i assume it probably will be, you could always play it in windowed mode and haver the bar at the bottom with the tabs on set so you can hide it when you don't want people to see what you have open. TomHAVFC
If I was you I would do what Scotty said and name the shortcut something else.
rinso
you could also change the icon of the shortcut once you've renamed it.. so it looks like anormal folder or something else on your pc.
danny_price
with vista football manager goes into games folder and you can leave it there so it will be hidden there unless youre mum goes looking through your folders
TomHAVFC
unless youre mum goes looking through your folders If my mom ever went through my folders. I'd disown her immediately
rinso
change the folder's attributes to "hidden" and make sure you dont have it displayin hidden files and folders... then if she does look.. its not there!!

trekman
with vista football manager goes into games folder and you can leave it there so it will be hidden there unless youre mum goes looking through your folders You can also set your computer up with a windows password. Im not sure if its easy or even possible to bypass this but I doubt your mother would have the know how.

vincenzo incendio
If it's a quality laptop it should run fine.
Wee Aja
If it's a quality laptop it should run fine. If it's a new laptop it'll be fine. Mine is an "entry-level" laptop and runs FM no problem whatsoever....
Reedyfc
Thank you all for your suggestions, I will not have the shortcut button, and I will rename it as something else. I know really cant wait for November 14th, and I'm not in College!! Happy days!!
Neji
I think she means 'Laptops aren't designed for games'
chopper99
Take my advice, don't bother playing FM and concentrate on your collage work instead. You'll have plenty of time to play FM once your exams are all done with, and probably a better job as well.
