Data base size & retained clubs v's amount of leagues

The other day just as a test i installed every single playable league just to see how it ran, i noticed in some country's such as Bulgaria and other european places alot of top champions league teams only had 1 or 2 players. i thought loading all leagues would of loaded every single player in the game but this didn't seem the case.

As far as using the retain certain teams staff etc, how would the processing cope if i retained 90% or all playing staff as apoosed to running many leagues 10 and above etc.?

i read some where using the huge data base it effects how the gam,e turns out regens etc? thats why SI didnt include it!!, would using the retain players result in the same out come, Huge data base = poor regen quality?
