gio
Back in FM07, I was playing as Reims (France, Ligue 2) and signed 15yr old Lauri Dalla Valle for a mere £50k. As soon as his 16th birthday came around, I gave him his debut. He made a fantastic start to his career, scoring a plethora of brilliant goals: if it were possible, his PPM would be: 'Drives with ball from deep, skinning any number of players, before launching an unstoppable shot from 15-30 yards'. The amount of times he'd do so was pretty unbelievable. Anyway, I moved onto bigger and better things with RC Lens in Ligue 1, and promptly paid ~£10m to sign my main man. He continued to perform for me and almost single-handedly led Lens to the title. By this point I was in aw of the boy and promptly gave him his own chant: 'Valle! Valle! Lauri Dalla Valle; He gets the ball, he scores a goal; Lauri Dalla Valle'. (How about that for lyrical genius ). I then moved onto Bayern, where this very chant rung out as soon as the first transfer window arrived. I've tried to sign him in every FM since, although he's never reproduced the form that merited that ground-breaking chant.
