demo?

Is there going to be a demo this year as last years demo was released on the 30th Semptember and the actual release date of the game was later than this years

Yes there is and no it was not released later than this year's tentative release date. It is usually a few weeks before the release date

The Demo sould be releases 2 weeks before the game release IIRC . Have patience my friend

just a quickie what stage is it at now? i mean FM09 not the demo! well is it actually complete a sitting in a warehouse somewhere or being packed or literally being worked on?

I think the 3D is still being worked on but they haven't said if it has gone gold!

The 3d part of the game should be included. The demo's are usually pretty much fully featured with only some things missing. The will only last for six months game time and are usually only supplied with a small database so there won't be loads of players.

You will also be able to continue your game on the full release when it comes out but I personally think its better to start from the begining since it's only a small database your using.

I think they would want to advertise the 3D on the demo!!

The game was released around October 20th last year (I think) and we usually release a demo 2 - 3 weeks before release.

So we should be hoping for a demo release in the last week of October?

Good god that's waaaay too long to wait! I think they will shock us by the start of next week!

IIRC when FM goes gold (gets sent to manufacturers) he demo follows quickly, SI usually announce when it has gone gold.
