nick... Posted September 26, 2008 Share Posted September 26, 2008 Ok, we all know the awards in FM are slihtly screwy, but at least the media in FM knows they're slightly screwy too... I just got this message im my inbox: Jan Jansen tipped to win player of the year. The media's hot tip isn't a bad player. He's averaged just over 7 in a Cardiff side who are strugling deep in the relgation zone with hardly any of the other players in their team even managing 6's. However, It's always the way, isn't it, that you feel that one of your own players shuld be winning the awards. Perhaps I'm just being blinkered because I've seen my players in action more often - or perhaps the media has an extra insight into how the awards are decided.
