interest in players

something i've noticed more and more in the game has been in the players profile it's said club x y or z is interested in the player.......if you want rid,you offer them to the club,but they say they arent looking for that sort of player,or they cant afford the wages,or they have better options in their current squad......if thats the case,why are they interested?really annoys me if im trying to get rid of someone,a club says theyre interested,yet they come up with a daft excuse for not making an offer when i offer the player to them

Since the transfer module has been re-written from scratch for FM2009 then things like this should be a thing of the past.

I think their interest is the same as your interest when you scout a player. You don't always want that player, but you're showing interest by scouting them.

I found the best way to dump guys for a good price. Transfer list them to attract interest. Then take them off the transfer list and offer them to clubs for a good price. You can usually get good value this way.
