The Scots Sunday Clan is back.

Back to basics, back to no cash, back to no talent( that’s including the managers by the way ) and taking football by the scruff of its neck and starting at the lowest point known to man in world football, yes you’ve guessed it, the Scottish 3rd Division.

9 brave souls have taken up the challenge to revive the fortunes of Scottish footballs smallest clubs, and do what the think tank could never do and bring the glory back to Scottish Football. Each manger has their own choice to make and style of management, do they take one club and go for glory, building from scratch, do they jump on the glory ladder, build a reputation and jump from club to club hoping for that big offer, or like most will do jump ship before the P45 comes through the post and live to fight another day only time will tell.

With the idea that we can follow in the foot steps of some of the worlds greatest manager ( we all know Scots make the best gaffers ), we set out with hopes and dreams but where will they take us ?

Kick off Sunday 16th January 6pm, game up from 5pm for T & T.

The line up at the start of the game will be as follows

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">

East Fife Allan Wills

Peterhead Gaz ( last clan game champ )

Elgin Davie

Albion Tracy

Montrose Ric

Cowdenbeath Sav

East Stirling Frank Robertson

Queens Park Steve McWee

Stenhousemuir Iain ( aka John Paul Remington – Host )

</pre>

Due to the current financial set up at Gretna, they have been banned for use at kick off in the clan in order to keep the playing field level.

The clan is an invite only clan, do not post in this thread asking to join the game as you will never be asked if you do so. When looking for players, the clan will select players from the available player listing or will advertise in the clan application thread.

Stenhousemuir sensationally rocked Scottish football this morning by announcing the sacking of current manager John McVeigh and replaced him with complete unknown Iain Stewart.

Stewart a former Network Engineer was brought out to the waiting journalist looking rather shabby and unshaven, with a distinct smell of drink Stewart sat there smiling away as he laid out what he referred to as his “Master Planâ€.

The club denied this was a money saving tactic and said that Stewart showed all the credentials to be a top coach and would go far in the game.

“Scottish football is on a downward slope†Slurred Stewart, I hope to do my bit to reverse this, I plan to bring exciting free flowing football to Stenhousemuir and put life back into this club, if there ever was any. I know that money will be tight, but that’s something I’ll have to work, not that I’m happy about it, its not coming as a surprise to me. Youth will have play a major roll in bringing this club back to the top.

When pushed further on his master plan, Stewart seemed to awake more, but maybe that was the strong black coffee that he was swigging, he spoke of his climb to the top of Scottish football, but not with Stenhousemuir, Stewart plans to be such a success that the bigger jobs will come calling eventually ending with him as boss of his beloved Celtic Football Club, how the warriors fans will take to this I have no idea.

Being not short of confidence in his own ability to be a success, Stewart mumbled on about taking this club by the scruff of the neck and dragging them up the league enhancing not only the club but himself, so with his plan laid out bear for all to see, his neck is truly on the line.

When asked if he had a drinking problem, Stewart angrily replied “Bloody hell it is New Year isn’t it, gives a break, I’m here aren’t I. Judge me by the way my team plays!â€

That we will.

It is with great pleasure that Cowdenbeath have appointed new Manager Stewart Robertson to Central Park. With the press still in shock from the appointment of an unknown down Stenhousemuir way, it was the same story in Fife. Well football it’s that sort of mad world poor old Dave Baikie found out on the way to the ground on the Radio that he was being replaced from some guy that had been in Spain for a while.

A press release was given as the New Manager has flown back to Spain to tie up a few loose ends, rumored to be the city of Madrid. Chairman - Gordon McDougall believes this appointment will be a fruitful one for seasons to come.

“I look forward with optimism that I can turn this club’s fortunes around. The plan is simple at this stage and that is to get the team into the second division and improve the squad as need be. My philosophy is to get back to basics and get a hard working squad together that will be as determined as me for success.

I won’t promise exciting free flowing football like some, we can’t afford flair here but I can promise that the team on the park will give 100%. The Blue Brazil will rise again and I look forward to the season ahead.

I would like to congratulate Iain Stewart on his appointment and I can honestly say I would dismiss the idea that he has a drink problem or that of skeletons in his closet that the press might find if they look hard enough"

East Stirling today made a bold move by announcing rookie boss Frank robertson as thier new manager. The chairman said,"It is a odd move i know, but after speaking to this lad,he knows his stuff, and has massive plans for the club.I assure the fans to have faith, and stick by us".

Robertosn said,"I am so over joyed by lanind this job with such a great club.I will give me all,day and night in bringing success to this club as best as i can".

The 33 year old Glasgow boy,who is said to be a staunch Celtic Supporter, has no other managerial experience, and only ever played at amatuer level.

The fans are a bit confused by this appointment,so this season is sure to be a interesting one.

Stewart hits back Robertson

Iain Stewart hits back at new Cowdenbeath Manager Stewart Robertson, over skeletons in closet claims. Stewart spotted leaving haddows in the town centre by a Falkirk Today reporter.

"Skeletons in my closet, rubbish" claimed Stewart

"Everyone knows she's under the patio, I mean left me thats it left me and its still a sore point if you dont mind !"

"If your looking for skeletons, why not ask that Robertson what he was doing in spain for so long eh, now if you dont mind I'm just giving these young ladies a stadium tour, and before you start on that, just look at what the Davie Orr is up to at Elgin, at least I'm not posting photos !"

"I'll do my talking on the park if you don't mind"

East Fife today followed Cowdenbeath and Stenhousemuir's lead by appointing a relativley unknown manager.

Allan wells was paraded infront of gathered press and fans today, and was upbeat about his sides title chances

"It is a great honour to be appointed manager at a club like East Fife, i have to thank my chairman for giving me my start in football, i have long term plans for the club and i hope there will be exciting times ahead"

when quized about the appointments of Iain Stewart and Stewart Robertson and most recently Frank Robertson of East Stirling, and their title chances

Wells replied "i really don't think a man with a "drink problem" and a manager who apoints a badger as his assistant are to much to worry about.

the interview ended with a question about what Well's ambitions were, and if he was using East Fife as a stepping stone to something bigger as iain stewart was quoted as saying

"I plan to take east fife to the dizzy heights of the Spl within 5 years, i have the chairmans backing and with the right attitude prom the staff, fans and most of all the players im sure we have a chance

This was well received by the fans although one local reporter claims he heard Wells saying i cant wait to get out of this hell hole on his way out.

Steve for Spiders as Shocked Stark Sacked

The press were left reeling as news filtered through from Hampden of yet another managerial casualty in the Scottish 3rd Division. Queen’s Park chairman Gordon Wilson sensationally sacked Billy Stark and appointed unknown rookie Steve McWee to the top job. Stark was said to be seething at the manner of his exit but said that on the plus side he could go back to being a BBC pundit and earn a more lucrative salary.

McWee insisted change was necessary at every level of the club and sent out a warning that any underachievers would be out the door immediately. “There’s no doubt there’ll be cuts in the squad, half of them are mince to be honest. Queen’s Park will rise again with me at the helm,†McWee said. “This team has enormous potential and I’m here to make sure it’s fulfilled,†he added.

Chairman Wilson echoed McWee’s words and added “Despite being a relative unknown Steve McWee has shown me with a great deal of evidence of his ability. At the interview he cited his record from a computer game where he led Ayr United to the UEFA Cup inside 4 seasons. We’ll be looking for similar success here He is exactly the kind of young, talented and ambitions manager The Spiders need to progress from 3rd Division obscurity to SPL mediocrity.â€

As Kevin McAllister's resignation hit the desk, Chairman Andrew Dick glanced over to David Shanks and asked him for the phone number of the burd he met in the 'Double A' last week. She was talking right good fitba. And she cant do any worse than Crunchie did so he decided to give her a try. He had a good feeling about this. This he thought to himself could be the start of a beuatiful friendship.

"Hello"

"Hello, Tracy it's David Shanks here, I dont know if you remember me but we met last week in the double A?"

"Erm I think I do, are you the guy who was involved with Rovers?"

"Thats me, well last week after we spoke I was really impressed with your great knowledge of tactics and training and I was telling the Chairman Mr Dick all about you and as it just so happens our manager has just resigned 15 mins ago.Would you be interested in coming into the club for a wee chat about a proposal?"

"A proposal, I only met you in a nightclub last week mate, and all we did was discuss tactics. I think your a wee bit ahead of yourself."

"No, not that type of proposal, why dont you just come in and see. How about 3 this afternoon some of the young players might be training and you could maybe meet them"

"Is this a wind up, cos I'm not really in the mood for this"

"No it isnt , I know it may seem strange but I promise it will benefit you"

"Ok then I'll be there. I'll see you at 3"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tracy drives up in her Blue Escort and parks it in the only space left, well there is only 4 spaces.

Andrew Dick

"Is this her coming David?"

David looks out window

"Thats her"

Tracy knocks on the door and enters the room when it's answered.

A few hours passes and Tracy Watson emerges as the new Albion Rovers manager.

Fantastic she thinks, these clowns think they are using her when all the while they are in for a major shock.

Andrew Dick is sitting at his desk and he doesnt know if he wants to scream, cry shout or dance. He is a bag of mixed emotions but only time will tell.

"Andrew do you not think this is a big gamble? I know she'll be the first but what if she isnt as good as she thinks?"

"That David is a gamble I am willing to take, she may not be SPL class but she will certainly cause a stir and with the free publicity we should have folk flooding through those gates generating plenty cash for a new manager to play with when he comes in next season."

"I hadnt thought of it like that, that's a great idea. Things couldnt be worse and we could let her play at manager for the season. I'll get a press conference sorted out right away and see if we can even make it to Scotland Today status. They may actually be interested in us now."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scotland Today evening News

Jane Lewis reporting

"This is an exclusive to Scotland Today as we break with all traditions and inform you of the new manager for Albion Rovers. You might ask why all the fuss over a third division foot of the table team appointing a new manager. Well lets go and meet her and we can see what the fuss is about"

Jane Lewis enters the training ground. (Dunbeth Park)

"Pass,Pass,Pass,Pass thats it lads keep it up. Great Pass!"

"Hello Tracy could we just interrupt you for a minute there?"

"Sure,"

"Well how does it feel to be the first woman to manage a scottish mens team?"

"It's been ok so far, I was a bit shocked at first but now that it's sinking in I am really looking forward to the challenge. To get paid to do something you love is unbeleivable, and the issue of me being female isnt an issue for me. I will do my best and I have some great plans for the team, we are having a longer training spell tonight so that I can be prepared for our first game. We have a few friendlies sorted out too so they should help me pick my team."

"How have the team recieved you?"

"A few of them were kinda shocked, but no more than I was and so far I havent had any problems. They are profesionals and will get on with the job no matter who is the manager."

"It's been great talking to you and may we wish you the best of luck in your first season. Thanks Tracy."

"Well you heard it here first, Tracy Watson is the new manager of Albion Rovers"

Announcing the appointment, The Blue Toon's PR Director Jimmy McNair said that Toner had been handed the job of putting together a management team as well as signing a squad of players and getting them ready in time for the start of the season.

“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Gary, who has exactly the profile we are looking for,†said Mr McNair.

"It feels good," Toner said. "There's a lot of great things happening at the club, and I'm glad to be a part of it."

"Our intent has been to improve the team and make it a contender as soon as possible.

After signing three players,Barry Lavety,Free Transfer,Gary Twigg, another free transfer, and George O'Boyle, signed free from Bo'ness United,we started the season off with a few friendlies.Starting off with a good win, then lost the other and drew one, came the real start to the season against Montrose in the Challenge Cup 1st Rnd.

We lost by 2-1 at home, with Greg Denham scoring for The Shire.

Shire boss Frank Robertson comented,"We obviously need some more players in,more experience, hence why we signed Barry and George. They will add some character to this side, and hopfully help us get up the league.

I am disappointed by the loss in the cup,but life goes on and this is a learning curve for me being new to management.I hope the fans stay with us and also would liek to thank the fans for turning out for todays game".

The Revolution Begins...

A week into the new regime and already manager McWee has stamped his

authority on things. His first action as new boss was to release almost a

dozen of the squad he considered simply not good enough. "Yeah they all had

to go, some of them couldn't even pass water never mind a football," said

McWee.

McWee is also reported to have implemented a brand new training scheme and

has told his coaches if the players don't start showing serious improvement

quickly they'll all be on the dole.

There have been a couple of new faces arriving at the club as well with the

much travelled Gregg Watson in from Linlithgow Rose on a free to bolster the

defence and add some much needed experience to the squad. McWee has also

brought in young right winger Colin Marshall and 17 year old striker Tom

McHard both on a free. "I feel Gregg will bring a presence to the back line

that we are currently missing, Colin is a traditional pacey tricky winger

and Tom is a great prospect who can play in midfield and attack. I am

delighted with these 3 signings so I don't plan to splash any more cash at

the moment."

Pre-season

Blackburn Reserves (H) 2-2

Challenge Cup

Morton (A) 1-1 (3-1 pens)

The Spiders produced a stirring performance against a higher division side and outplayed Morton for most of the match. David Clarke scored a remarkable free kick in 21mins to put the away side into a deserved lead. Then in 61mins disaster struck as Hawke equalised for the Ton. Clarke was sent off midway through extra time but the match still went to penalties. Sadly the 2nd Div side undeservedly went on to win the game.

Stewart Surveys all he commands.

Stewart stepped out of the taxi, best not to drive in this condition, and wandered slowly up to the entrance of his new castle “Ochilview Parkâ€

He stopped just before the entrance and looked around, a broad smile started to spread across his face “pre-season†he whispered slowly to him self, “it begins now !†as he slowly rubbed his stubbled chin, and stepped through the door to take charge.

Shown to his room by Chairman Michael Lang, Stewart wandered inside, a modest room to say the least, a small desk, an old school style chair, he’ll get the padded leather number shortly, and a few notepads and pens. We all need to start somewhere he thought.

“Time to hit the wagon bhoy, lets get this show on the road†he thought as he wandered out to meet the team and take his first training session.

Good facilities for a team in the lower parts of world football, a decent capacity stadium, but no money, this was going to be work. A quick meeting with his staff and he realised the clubs limitations were quickly realised. Some new staff are needed first off to help produce some talented youngsters in the coming year, a route that Stewart feels passionate about. A lack of depth was obvious so Stewart jumped on the phone to friend Martin O’Neil who quickly agreed for the club to take young defender Stephen McManus on loan for the season, he then secured midfielder Mark Booth from Forfar and Patrick Gallacher from Queens park both for free.

A number of other loans have been targeted but if the clubs has the means to push these through, he’s not sure.

Stewart quickly set about sorting out the roles at the club for the various members of staff and organised the clubs training programmes and got ready for the pre-season.

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">

1 – 2 Forfar H League Challenge Cup

4 – 0 Cowdenbeath Spanjocks Cup

1 – 2 Peterhead Spanjocks Cup

2 – 2 Elgin Spanjocks Cup

</pre>

An eventful pre-season for Stewart, not to disappointed about it, the league challenge cup defeat coming after a very spirited performance against 2nd Division outfit Forfar. Stenie took the lead only to lose a goal late on and then after losing there keeper to injury and being forced to go to 10 men, lost when Forfar took the lead with the last kick of the ball.

A difficult away tie to Peterhead in the league lies ahead, its now that the real stuff begins !

Considered Promotion contenders by the press the pressure is on to perform, but manager Stewart has the confidence to put in 100% and push it to the very end.

I'm sure Peterhead will lay on extra security for this weekends match and allow Gary to concentrate fully on this weekends match and not worry about anything coming up behind him".

Stenie Slow to start

Stenhousemuir new boss Iain Stewart got the start to the season that he must have been dreading, his worst thoughts on his team came true as they were taken apart from day one by anyone they faced. Defensive frailties the most obvious and costly to his team. Of the first six games of the season, the warriors lost the first 4, with lose being a kind word before finally grabbing a victory finshing up with a draw. So 6 played, 1 victory, 1 draw, 4 defeats and a lot of leasons learned.

Stewart moved quickly as the transfer window drew to a close bringing striker Fraser Logan from Killie on loan to add depth and pace to his front line, Damiano Agostini, on a free, a right back mainly to add competition in places but failed on 2 attempts to add another centre defender to try and stabailse a shakey back line.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>

Peterhead 3 - 0 Stenhousemuir

Outplayed, outclassed and out fought by the better team, Stewart could only look on in dismay as simple defensive errors cost his side and gave Peterhead a very convincing start to the season

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>

Stenhousemuir 0 - 2 Gretna

Stewart was very angry at this defeat, and was very vocal against Gretna feeling that his side dominated the match and had the better chances and should has won this match, however he did calm down and accept that to win you have to put the ball in the net which Gretna managed twice after again more defensive mishaps.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>

Queens Park 3 - 0 Stenhousemuir

Stenie were not in contention here and made no effort to make a competition of this match, they simply spent the 90mins chasing shadows. The defense was again pulled all over the park, and when in possession the team lacked invention movement and the basics of finishing escaped them.

[/code]

League Cup 1 st Round

Queen of the South 3 - 0 Stenhousemuir

The 1st Division side just had far too much in every department for the warriors, and too be far the game could have turned into a cricket score and gave Stewart nothing more but worry over his job.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>

Stenhousemuir 2 - 1 Montrose

Finally the warriors showed some fighting spirit, coming from behind to grab there first victory and points of the season and hauling themself off the bottom. Tremendous team spirit from stenie won through with the team fighting all the way to the end.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>

Cowdenbeath 3 - 3 Stenhousemuir

PLenty of action saw a busy afternoon for the referee Jim McCluskey a total of 13 yellow cards and 3 reds were shown reducing Cowdenbeath to 10 and Stenie to 9.

Stenie dug in and fought hard refusing to give up coming from behind 3 times to level the scoring, the last coiming 3 minutes into injury time, Stenie whipping in a quick free kick at the edge of the box for Gallacher to rise a score his frst goal for stenie with what was the last touch of the ball before the final whistle went.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

After an extremely poor start, Stewart was at a loss as were to go, he sat back, paniced, look at that bottle in his draw but thought not yet.

He took stock of what has happen on the park so far, looked at the problem the team was having , made some slight tactical changes to make is simplier for his player, giving players specific jobs to do, and he tinkered with the training. He's pleased with the results and the response of his players since, although the amount of cards being picked up my haunt them.

Stewart was unavailable for comment on the rumour that he has reported Peterhead to the SFL for the "3 moustached men" who stood behind the stenie goal shouting "coooooooeeeeeee" and smiling at his keeper everytime Peterhead attacked.

So 6 played, 1 victory, 1 draw, 4 defeats and a lot of leasons learned.

Stewart moved quickly as the transfer window drew to a close bringing striker Fraser Logan from Killie to add depth and pace to his front line, Damiano Agostini, on a free, a right back mainly to add competition in places but failed on 2 attempts to add another centre defender to try and stabailse a shakey back line.

Peterhead 3 - 0 Stenhousemuir

Outplayed, outclassed and out fought by the better team, Stewart could only look on in dismay as simple defensive errors cost his side and gave Peterhead a very convincing start to the season

League Cup 1 st Round

Queen of the South 3 - 0 Stenhousemuir

The 1st Division side just had far too much in every department for the warriors, and too be far the game could have turned into a cricket score and gave Stewart nothing more but worry over his job.

Stenhousemuir 2 - 1 Montrose

Finally the warriors showed some fighting spirit, coming from behind to grab there first victory and points of the season and hauling themself off the bottom. Tremendous team spirit from stenie won through with the team fighting all the way to the end.

The Campaign Begins

Results

3-0 East Stirling (H) (Canning, Twigg OG, Clarke)

0-2 Elgin (A)

3-0 Stenhousemuir (H) (Whelan, Menelaws, Ferry)

0-1 Cowdenbeith (H) League Cup

0-1 Peterhead (A)

0-0 Gretna (H)

It all started so well with an easy 3 nil victory over a lacklustre Shire side. Queen's totally dominated the entire match and could've won by 5 or 6. Next up was a disappointing performance against Elgin, with the team losing both goals on the stroke of half time, one a spectacular strike by Bone and the other a defensive shambles. A confidence boosting 3 nil demolition of Stenny was to be followed up with dreadful displays against Cowdenbeith and Peterhead but things were looking up again with a scoreless draw against promotion favourites Gretna.

"Overall I'm fairly satisfied with our start to the season," said McWee. "Alright, so we're out of the League Cup, and the Challenge Cup, and to be fair, we're probably not going to get promoted either after getting beat by Peterhead and not winning against Gretna and i realise we haven't scored in the last 3 games.... In fact, we've had a rubbish start to the season. THIS INTERVIEW IS OVER!" McWee stormed out of the press conference cursing fluently and vowing to knock some sense into his hopeless bunch of haddies.

cowdenbeath.jpg

Cowdenbeath 4-0 Albion

It was an outstanding first game of the season with Ross Matheson showing the way with two goals. Steavie Boyle was outstanding up the wing and took his goal well as well as did Shields. The only low point was a Red card to Miller who is catching the eye of a few clubs. Albion was shown how to play the game and manager Robertson was seen patting opponent Tracy on the back before going up the tunnel happy at the days work.

East Fife 0-1 Cowdenbeath

A great result away and although we were the better team we just had to wait for that winning goal. Shields took his goal well. After he scored Manager Robertson Shut up shop with Ross Mcbride brought on to kill off the game.

Cowdenbeath 2-1 East Stirling

Cowden took the lead with an OG on the 76th and looked set to steal the points until Stirling fought back to 1-1. Only a last minute penalty saved the day and Miller converted it for Cowden to drive the fans wild. Manager Robertson waved to the fans and took Miller all the way up the park and punched the air, but after he emitted he just looked a prat and won’t be doing that again.

Challenge Cup 2nd rd

Queen of Sth. 2- 1 Cowdenbeath

Manager Robertson emitted his team are still short on fitness and this game was too much for his team. Although Cowden played a good game and scored with Shields they crash out. Manager Robertson commented “Although disappointed it’s a distraction we don’t needâ€

Queens Park 0-1 Cowden League Cup

Steven Boyle took to the 79th minute to tie up this game with a great goal. Cowden played well but failed that killer touch need. Its another cup and Cowden are through and the prospect to get some money.

Elgin 1-1 Cowdenbeath

Steven Boyle won M.o.M but Miller scored a great goal that should have won us the game. Poor defending cost us two points and Manager Robertson looked not a happy Bunny as he shook the Elgin Managers hand.

Cowden 3-3 Stenhousemuir

A great game for the neutral but Cowden who were the better side should have won with three goals. A fantastic quick free kick at the last kick of the ball cost Cowden the points to draw at home. M.o.M Shields was outstanding as was sub Blackadder and Miller ran the show in midfield. Manager Robertson Could only look on and was happy with his team performance but our luck ran out at the end.

Radio Phone in

Manager Stewart Robertson

Chick-

“Hi Stewart, is that thee Stewart Robertson.â€

Stewart

Chick

Stewart

“Your always welcome down Cowden way, down the Lodgeâ€

Chick

“I know it wellâ€

Stewart

“You still got that restraining order with Tracy Watson?â€

Chick

“ Aye all those sexy text’s, all those nice letters of appreciation and calling the house, it all had to stopâ€

Stewart

Chick

Despite the attentions of Toner being somewhat distracted by a gay stalker in the area, who'd have thought it with all the sheep in the area someone would be stalking little old me awww shucks.

But anyway despite that Peterhead have managed to get off to the a great start in the league, although it is early doors the team that are evens for promotion look good although slighty worrying is that with a injury or two Peterhead are shockinly bad.

Clan Announcement

Sorry to inform you all, but this weeks game looks to have been a waste of time. The game crashed as we were preparing to play the last game and on trying to load this weeks save i get the out of memory error, great fun !

Slighty cheesed off about this, but there is nothing we can do as the game will just not load.

So next week we will start from were we started this week. I'll do a test on the save and run it through past the point of crash incase its a bug in the game and I'll post an update on here.

All I can say is sorry folks.

I don’t know icon_frown.gif, your team plays utter crap and could not start any worse than a 2-1 loss to your rival team for top spot. You then get offered an easy life at Peterhead at no1 spot and in the clear after a cup exit and two draws with Cowden at 4th and the game die’s

Up point Cowden cant do any worse when we get back and everyone new sees Morton as an attractive Job. icon_biggrin.gif

Let hope they patch the game soon icon14.gif, it looks like the game can fall down at any point with online play and the save is corrupted. Major problem that was not picked up in the testing I’m almost embarrassed for them.

Sorry Folks

I've booted the last save, and it works but.

When I chug the game forward and go into december save the game and exit in the proper manner as shown in the manual and try and load the game up I get the same out of memory error.

As far as I'm aware the new patch ( expected any month now ) will fix this, fingers an toes crossed.

So the clan is currently on hold until the release of the new patch.

I can only say sorry once more to you guys that play and make the game so much fun, but lifes tough and we need to take this on the chin.

At least you won't need to do updates for a while icon_razz.gif

I'll be in the chat room during the week and and at weekends so feel free to drop by and console me.

yours

JPR ( your host Iain incase your wondering )

listen up,I was playing the spanish game on monday when we had a low memory warning

it got me thinking to what fooking doing it.

and i couldn't think of anything

apart from one thing that i did do on the sunday game and the mondays game

was load up my own training shedule on both of these days, before i had always kept to using the bog standard shedule, due to the amount of times myself and others would crash while trying to sort it out.

correct if am wrong but the game saves your tactics and training shedules, though the file stays on my pc(following me?)so that next time you play its there waiting for you

i was wondering was this partly the reason why the low memory warnings came up , or am i just trying to look clever and talking a pile of fooking crap

icon_wink.gif

Davie I’ve always been a bit suspect of the training in the game. Every time I used it, it either took ages to work and caused the game to crawl or crashed it. A few times it meant I was greyed out in the clan game so I stopped using it.

I always have it set to the Ai to handle the training. It would be nice to set up but I just feel it’s a mine field that either looses its settings or kills the game. It might give players a slight edge using it but its not worth using in my view.

canned until further patching? Yeah as far as know were having a winter breakicon_frown.gif

Link to post

Yeah Steve, as it stands the game is canned until the new patch comes out and hopefully this saves the game.

The save for a week ago sunday works but when you get to the end of november / December you can save exit but the game will not load back up, low memory error.

This seems to be a common error and a few people are having it, so sit tight and wait for the patch icon_mad.gif
