that i can manage until the release of fm09.

i have looked in the challenges forum and could not find anything.

What i want is a real challenge to get me through the next four weeks.... derby maybe, any team any league is not a problem but would probably only get through 1 season in the time given.

what has been peoples hardest game... there best achievement.... i am willing to take on any team.

many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

personally the most fun i've had on fm 08 has been managing in the lower leagues of Sweden and Brazil, so i would say try that if you want to try something really different.

You could also try the Good Players/Team forum as there are plenty of team suggestions in there. My suggestions are Cisco Roma, Bayern Munich and Boca Juniors.

L'Entente Sannois SG (French Div 3) was my toughest one lately (FM07). I avoided relegation by an extremely small margin in the first season, and I don't remember how many years it took to top Div 1.

if you're thinking along the lines of poor prem teams, i'd suggest fulham. they're quite easy to keep up but have terrible finances and a dire rep, which makes it a real struggle to get them anywhere decent

In the final couple of weeks before FM2008 was released I played as River Plate and had two hugely enjoyable seasons. As you're looking for a short term game I'd recommend them.

i'd go for any of these :

dortmund (get them back to their glory days with practically no money and a small squad)
bournemouth (points deduction, 0 funds, and a few gems)
corinthians (now in brazils 2nd div)
