screen resolution

i dont know if this is in the right place or not to post , i cant find this topic and if its wrong place please close it down .

i cant get my football manager into a box like the internet for example everytime i untick full screen it says changing the screen settings failed , please check your system supports the settings. ive tried to mess with screen settings and it doesnt work just keeps saying the same thing, my friend unticked the boxed and worked no problem so if any can help be much appreciated

Right click on your taskbar and choose properties and then auto-hide it. Confirm and it should now work.

Alternatively you could add to this to the target of the shortcut: -small_screen -windowed "

Either of these should work.
