Semi Professional to Professional in Republic of Ireland

Could anyone tell me what criteria a semi professional team in the Irish Premier Division needs to turn professional, as some clubs in Ireland start the game as professional and I would like to know how to compete. I already have all players and staff signed on professional contracts plus a healthy bank balance, aswell as winning the division previously.

Any suggestions please?

I'm playing as Fingal and we turned Pro as soon as we were promoted so I assumed all clubs did. The only definite way I know of turning Pro is to have £5m in the bank at the start of January, then when the end of season happens you'll go pro.

Are you on the latest patch etc.?

5 million! Jesus! I'm in charge of Wexford and i've been in the prem for 4 years. Not turned pro yet.

Yep, it's a lot of cash. It wasn't a problem in my Fingal game but a game I played in N.I. it took me until about 2016 to go Pro and that was with regular appearances in the Setanta (All-Ireland) Cup to bump up the cash along with some really good sell-on fees.
