Strange comments in scout reports.

It doesn't say he had the ball when he took on the two players. Mebee he took them on and then got in position for a cross and a close-range header. Or maybe he out-jumped 2 players to win the header. Or maybe he punched a defender and the goalkeeper first and then headed home!

Would someone care to shed some light on what this is meant to mean?

How exactly do you take on 2 players and then score with a close range header:confused:

Look at the famous Jamie Pollock OG.

He beat two QPR forwards before heading it over his own keepers head from 20 yards to relegate his team.

Now its never going to happen at the correct end though.

^^

A long ball. He beats his defender, gets clear away, rounds the 'keeper .. and the other team are so disheartened that they give up on the play and cease chasing him. Seeing this, he has enough time to stop on the six, lift it into the air for himself, and score with the header.
