what version of the game do i have

hi this is ma 1st ever post. i see loads of people going on bowt what version they have i.e 8.0.2 and so on. how do i find out what version i have please help

Have you downloaded any patches before? If not then you have version 8.0.0

I you don't have any patches installed then you really need 8.0.2 installed as soon as possible. You can install this patch without having to restart your current game.

You should note that this patch does not contain the January transfers (i.e Robinho at Man City). For this you need a data update. Search the Editors forum or google for FM Weegie if you want the latest transfers. Remember though that with a data update you have to start a new game.

then how do i get it on to ma game from there thank u

You need to downlaod something called winrar. Install winrar then right click on the patch and choose extract here.

Click on the Options Menu and then Game Status and it will display the version of the game you are running.
